TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Troy Public Utilities Committee met on Wednesday but did not discuss the issue of frozen water pipes.
Some residents went days without water this winter because of frozen water pipes.
Even though the issue wasn’t on the agenda, Councilman Jim Gordon said the city council has been moving on the matter.
“What we’ve learned and what we know is we can buy the machinery and get the job taken care of in a timely manner and get an individual’s water turned on and go about our business,” he said.
Another council member said they’re still trying to determine preventative measures as well as the city’s legal obligations.
