SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A fire has killed three people in the town of Cherry Valley on Hone Road.

Officials say three people died in the blaze, including a teenager. The victims have been identified as 13-year-old Anthony Sabler, 20-year-old Gabrielle F. Sabler, and 22-year-old Ashley A. Tefft. The fire broke out in a two story wooden house in Cherry Valley in Otsego County.

Church officials say two of the victims were children of parents who are parishioners at a local church and the third victim was a friend of one of the children.

Officials say all three deaths were ruled accidental, caused by asphyxia due to the inhalation of smoke and heated combustible material.  The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation.
