Investigation leads to the arrest of two Coxsackie residents on felony drug charges

COXSACKIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)— Catskill State Police have arrested two Coxsackie residents after a month-long investigation into the sale of crack cocaine.

Catskill State Police say they executed search warrants on two locations resulting in the seizure of two ounces of crack cocaine, money, scales, packaging and illegal edged weapons.

Police say 29-year-old Shaun Middlemiss has been charged with two felony charges for the Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Weapon.  25-year-old Ursula Velazquez has been charged with a felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and two misdemeanor drug charges.

Middlemiss and Velazquez were arraigned in the Town of Catskill Court and were remanded to the Greene County Jail.
