Grafton man arrested, accused of sexually assaulting teen

GRAFTON, Vt. (NEWS10) – A 38-yeay-old Grafton man has been arrested and charged by Vermont State Police after he allegedly sexually assaulted a teen boy.

In February, Vermont State Police were notified of a sexual assault that allegedly occurred in the town.

After an investigation, Thomas Badger was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct of a child.

Authorities allege that Badger touched the victim on numerous occasions while the victim visited himat his residence.

On Thursday, Badger was taken into custody and transported to Vermont State Police Barracks for processing. He is now at the Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court- Windham Criminal Division on Friday to answer the charges.
