ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Construction on the Patroon Island Bridge is set to pick up once again.
The New York State Department of Transportation says single and double overnight lane closures will start after Monday night’s evening rush hour. All traffic will be shifted to the eastbound side of the bridge with the westbound side reduced to one lane. Two lanes will stay open eastbound.
The first of several weekend ramp closures is scheduled for mid-April. The construction is part of an ongoing $146 Million dollar project to restore the bridge.
