ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Albany Law School hosted workshops, presentations and consultations at Veterans’ Law Day on Sunday at the school.
Albany Law School’s Veterans’ Rights Project has served more than 200 veterans in the last three years with free legal services.
Veterans and service members who pre-registered are offered a free consultation with a pro bono attorney.
There was also a community resource fair and a free walk-in advice clinic. Among other matters, the advice clinic covered family law, tenants’ rights, and estate planning.
