SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police have arrested a South Glens Falls man after he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife.
Police said Robert Hedrick, 23, and a female acquaintance were in a domestic dispute when Hedrick punched, pushed and chocked the victim causing minor injuries. He also allegedly waved a large kitchen knife at the victim and refused to let her leave the apartment.
The victim refused medical treatment.
Police said Hedrick also threatened another female tenant from the building with the knife who happened to be in the hallway when Hedrick briefly left the apartment. She was not injured.
Hedrick was arrested at the scene without incident. He was charged with one count of Unlawful Imprisonment and two counts of Menacing in the Second Degree.
Hedrick was arraigned at the Town of Northumberland Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail on $25,000 cash and $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Moreau Town Court on March 26.
More charges are pending.
