ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A 25-year-old man faces assault and weapons charges after a stabbing Sunday on Lark Street.
Officers responded to Third Street and Lark Street at about 7:30 p.m. after reports of an assault. When they arrived, officers found two men with stab wounds after an altercation.
The 25 and 35-year-old victims were treated at the scene by Albany Fire Department emergency medical personnel. They were both transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police arrested Edward Williams near the scene after learning that he had been involved in an ongoing dispute with the two victims.
He is charged with two counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned and remanded to Albany County Jail.
