Construction to begin in Troy, traffic delays expected

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Some traffic issues are expected in the city because of the new parking garage at Samaritan Hospital.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., oversized vehicles will begin delivering the crane needed for construction. After that, concrete castings will be trucked in as well.

As these vehicles bring in the equipment, delays are expected between River St. and the Brunswick Town Line on Hoosick St. in both directions.

Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes. There are also parking restrictions that will go in effect near the hospital.
