ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)— Police say they have charged a Vermont man with three misdemeanors following an incident involving an 11-year-old at Crossgates Mall.
Guilderland Police say after an investigation into an incident at Dave and Buster’s in Crossgates Mall on Friday, they arrested 38-year-old Nathan D. Harrington for forcible touching.
Officials responded just before 3 p.m. after receiving a report that a male had accosted an 11-year-old victim in the bathroom of the restaurant. The victim told police the subject put his arm around him and attempted to inappropriately touch him in front of a urinal. The victim began screaming and kicking the subject who then left the area.
Following an investigation police located Harrington and took him into custody. He was charged with three misdemeanors including forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Harrington, who resides in Bennington, VT, is an employee of Tullio Hair Studio in Crossgates Mall.
Harrington was processed and is due back in Guilderland Town Court at a later date.
