SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police have completed their investigation into a four month long drug dealing case.
Detectives, along with members of the Special Operations Squad, raided the location on 361 Georgetta Dix Blvd. shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
Detectives say they arrested and charged 27-year-old Amir K Rivera after he was found with 10 grams of crack-cocaine, 4.31 grams of heroin, and 100 grams of marijuana, an AK-47, a 9mm pistol and over $4,000.00. He’s being charged with two counts Criminal Sale Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana.
Rivera was arraigned this morning and turned over to the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Department. This investigation was a four month joint operation conducted with members of the NYS CNET.
