BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – State police say a man is being charged after he was arrested for a DWI and punched a hole in the wall at the police station.
Police say 37-year-old Donald Swanson of Johnsonville was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal mischief on Tuesday night. Police say Swanson showed signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and transported to the Brunswick State Police Station.
During processing, police say Swanson got upset and punched a hole in the wall.
Officials say his blood alcohol content was found to be .12%. He was arraigned in the Town of Schaghticoke Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail.
