Former player for Giants in Albany to support school breakfast

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A former New York Giants running back, Joe Morris will be in town on Thursday helping to bring awareness to the importance of breakfast at school.

Anti-hunger advocates will host a press conference at the legislative office building this morning as part of National School Breakfast Week.

According to the American Diary Association and Dairy Council, New York’s schools lag in feeding children at school despite the positive impact school breakfast can have on a child’s health and learning.

The press conference happened at 9 a.m. this morning.
