QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a man has been arrested after breaking into a home and assaulting a police officer.]
Police say 35-year-old Theodore Turner of Glens Falls was arrested on Sunday after an investigation. The investigation revealed that Turner forcibly entered a home in Queensbury around 2:30a.m. and caused an injury to the person living there.
Before authorities arrived, Turner fled the scene and was located a short distance away. When police located turner they attempted to arrest him, but he resisted and fought with the officers.
Turner’s actions resulted in an injury to the officer from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department. The person inside the home and the officer were treated and released at Glens Falls Hospital.
Turner was arrested for the felonies of Burglary and Assault, as well as a misdemeanor for Resisting Arrest. He was arraigned in the Town of Queensbury Court and remanded to Warren County Jail.
