TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Family and friends of Brian Howard paid their final respects to the education leader known throughout the Capital Region on Wednesday.
The funeral was held for 65-year-old Howard at Saint Augustine Church in Troy.
Howard died last week following an incident at his home in Troy. He was trying to clear snow and ice off of his roof when the incident happened.
Howard spent his career in Capital Region classrooms, most notably serving as superintendent for schools in Queensbury, Berlin, and Troy.
