FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A meeting to discuss the clean-up plan of the soon-to-be closed GE plant site is happening on Tuesday night.
G.E. plans to shut down the plant at Park Ave. and Broadway and move its manufacturing operation to Florida. The state developed a clean-up plan after investigation found contamination in water and soil around the 32 acre site.
A public hearing on the proposal is scheduled for Tuesday at the Washington County Public Health Annex Building Two on Main St. in Hudson Falls. The meeting is expected to begin at 7p.m.
