ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Albany County Executive Dan McCoy and Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple announced their plans to run for reelection on Sunday.
In front of a packed house at the Albany Labor Temple, Apple and McCoy promised to continue to improve Albany if they’re reelected. “We need to continue to strive to do better for the people that have put us in office and that’s what I’m going to continue to do,” said McCoy
“We’re trying to put that whole protect and serve back together. Law enforcement is one issue, but we’re doing a lot more things above and beyond law enforcement,” said Apple. Apple and McCoy were joined by friends and family along with other local elected officials.
