UAlbany to take on NJIT Friday night

NEWARK – All eyes will be on Peter Hooley and whether or not he will play at NJIT.

The Great Danes are hopping out of conference after winning twelve straight games against America East opponents. The approach is always the same – play to win.

But the rotation might look a little different.

“If it’s a situation where Peter is good enough to play, we can get him ten or 12 minutes in the game just to get him adjusted, obviously, there are things we’ll do a little differently by getting him involved,” UAlbany head coach Will Brown said. “But if he doesn’t play, we gotta play to win.”

UAlbany beat NJIT by double digits in November, but the Highlanders have won ten of their last eleven games and are 9-1 at home.
