SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Shenendehowa and Saratoga High Schools met on the ice on Wednesday in what is one of Section II’s best rivalries.
The two schools have met in the last four sectional titles with the Blue Streaks winning all of them until last year. The Plainsmen won this season’s first meeting 4-2 in December.
Toga was looking to even the series.
Blue Streaks win 4-3.
“I’ve been on the team since I was a freshman, and I’ve played almost every game, and I’ve been waiting to score against those guys,” Saratoga forward Cam McCall said. “I was thinking to myself that tonight that it’s bound to happen, and it couldn’t have been more perfect on senior night.”
