Rotterdam Police arrest second convenience store burglary suspect

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. – Rotterdam Police have arrested a second suspect in a convenience store burglary.

Ricardo S. Rodriguez, 23, of Schenectady, was arrested on Sunday, following an investigation by Rotterdam detectives who were assisted by the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Department.

Police say he is the second suspect involved in burglarizing the Little Super convenience store located at 1517 Helderberg Ave. on January 11, 2015.

The first suspect, Andrew A. Nolan, 24, of Schenectady, was apprehended fleeing the scene of the burglary.

Rodriguez was charged with felony burglary and grand larceny. He was arraigned in Rotterdam Town Court and remanded to the Schenectady County Jail.
