GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – A man has been arrested after authorities say he was found in possession of heroin.
On Thursday at 1 p.m., members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit arrested Jolibin Massamba, 36, for felony criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Massamba had been staying in Glens Falls recently but is originally from Pennsylvania and had also resided in New York City.
Massamba is accused of selling one “sleeve” of heroin to an undercover police officer–one sleeve is 10 bundles of heroin. Police say there were 10 bags per bundle.
Also seized during the investigation were 13 grams of unpackaged heroin and cash money.
Massamba was arraigned in Glens Falls City Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility for lack of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 secured bail bond.
