Family accused of burglary ring tied to over 130 break ins

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Police say they have broken up a family burglary ring tied to more than 130 break ins dating back to 2010 and stretching from the Berkshires to Cape Cod.

Nancy and James Tarjick, an dtheir son James Jr., were arrested after police raided several Berkshire County locations.

Authorities say the raids turned up some stolen items.

Lawyers for the Tarjick’s say they had no knowledge of the thefts and their home was simply a “dumping ground.”

James Jr. was held on $10,000 after pleading not guilty. His parents pleaded not guilty and were released on Thursday.
