SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Officials say they are investigating a fire that happened on Saturday night.
Firefighters say they fire happened at 1501 Chrysler Avenue. Officials say the fire is not suspicious, and they were able to get one person out who had minor injuries.
One firefighter is being treated at Ellis Hospital for minor burns.
“Anytime it is 10 degrees, we tend to have some equipment problems. We did have a couple men go down because of slippery conditions. It’s part of doing business in this cold weather,” said Chief Raymond Seneca with the Schenectady Fire Department.
Officials say they have yet to figure out what started the flames.
