State Police: Man possessed steroids during traffic stop

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. – A Rotterdam man is accused of possessing steroids.
State Police say that on January 1, Michael DiGioia, 36, was arrested for alleged possession of steroids.
Troopers say they stopped DiGioia on Campbell Road after observing him failing to maintain his lane. A DMV check revealed that DiGioia’s vehicle registration was expired.
According to authorities, troopers recovered syringes with steroids in DiGioia’s vehicle. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.
