TROY, N.Y. – Officials from the Troy Police Department say a 61-year-old man was stabbed outside his home in the city.
Police say the man was stabbed with a knife at about 4a.m. on Saturday on Winnie Avenue in Troy. His injuries are non-life threatening.
The man told police he went outside to fight someone when he was stabbed. The man did not say what the fight was about.
Police say they have a suspect in mind, but are not releasing any information. Currently, no one is in custody.
The man was treated on scene by Troy Fire Department medics and transported to Albany Medical Center.
