Zayla is a two-year-old spayed Pitbull Mix.
She is one of our longer shelter residents. She has been adopted a couple times and returned because of things not her fault. She was originally a stray, so we didn’t know how she was with cats or other dogs. Zayla is housebroken and doesn’t get in trouble when left alone. She is great with kids and loves this toy called a Jolly Egg. She has lots of energy and loves to play fetch. Zayla would be a good hiking companion. She is also a tennis ball nut. She tries to put three in her mouth. Its quite funny to watch.
She needs a house without cats. Although she has had quite a few doggie play dates here at the shelter, we think it might be best if she went to a house only with another male dog. Of course we always say a meet and greet is the way to go before bringing a new dog home. She doesn’t get along with smaller dogs. They need to be her size or bigger. Zayla is a sweet girl that would love to be a part of your home. Do you have room for her?
