SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – With the bitter cold expected on Friday night, at least one community has already but Code Blue into effect.
The Code Blue shelter in Saratoga will open Friday and Saturday night for anyone who is homeless and needs a warm place to stay.
The shelter is in the Salvation Army building at 27 Woodlawn Avenue.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with dinner served at 7:30. The shelter closes at 9 a.m. the next day.
Volunteers are needed.
