Sheriff: Three accused of stealing from outlet stores

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – Police say three women are accused of shoplifting.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says that on Monday around 8:30 p.m., they received a call from an employee of the outlets located on State Route 9 in Queensbury of three females leaving in a vehicle that were suspected of shoplifting.

The vehicle was located and the occupants were allegedly found to be in possession of various clothing items that were determined to have been stolen from The Children’s Place and IZOD outlets, say authorities.

Damira Herring, 22, Glinda Herring, 48, and Alexis Evans, 29, all of Schenectady, were each charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a felony.

All three subjects were placed in police lock up for lack of bail.
