Man arrested, accused of stealing, forging checks

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – Troopers have arrested a man for grand larceny and forgery.

Dylan Johnson, 20, was charged with forgery in the second degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree, say state police.

In late October, Johnson stole several checks from a person he was acquainted with, according to police. Johnson allegedly forged and cashed three of the checks with a total loss of $1,100.00  from the bank account.

Johnson was arrested and released to appear in the Town of Queensbury Court on a later date.
