BETHLEHEM, N.Y. – Shenendehowa is the defending Class AA champion, but the Lady Plainsmen don’t feel like they get the respect that their title has earned.
They got an early chance to prove themselves Friday night playing a tough Bethlehem in a battle of unbeaten on the road.
Shen won 64-53.
“In the past couple years, we haven’t been, like, looked upon as a really forceful team,” junior Carly Boland said. “So a win like this to show everyone else that we can beat a top team like Bethlehem, it means a lot. And it’s just gonna motivate us to do well the rest of the season.”
