State police attempting to locate owner of stolen power tools

TAGHKANIC, N.Y. – New York State Police from the Livingston barracks are seeking the public’s assistance to help locate the owner of found power tools.

In June 2014, Troopers were dispatched to investigate a suspicious tool box filled with power tools located off of County Route 10. The tools were abandoned on private property by two white males operating a white vehicle, according to police.

State Police have attempted to locate the tool’s owner by contacted the Hudson Police Department and Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and have been unsuccessful.
