ALBANY, N.Y. – Albany Police say a 15-year-old Albany resident has been charged in connection with a shots fired incident that occurred on North Lake Avenue.
On Thursday around 4 p.m., officers responded to the area of North Lake Avenue and Washington Avenue for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers say they found evidence consistent with gunshots.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Shortly after the call, a 15-year-old male was stopped by officers while they were conducting their investigation. The teen was identified as the suspect in the incident and was taken into custody.
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second and reckless endangerment in the first.
He is scheduled to appear in Albany County Family Court.
