Man found guilty of sexual assault felonies, faces up to 75 years

ALBANY, N.Y. – An Albany man has been found guilty of sexual assault charges.

Donald Glass, 57, was found guilty after a jury trial of two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, both felonies, and one count of rape in the first degree, a felony, on Friday afternoon.

On July 25, 2013, during the evening hours, around the 100 block of Orange Street, Glass sexually assaulted a female who was a stranger to him.

An investigation led by the Albany Police Department, in conjunction with DNA evidence, led to the successful prosecution of Glass.

Glass faces up to 75 years in State Prison when sentenced on December 19, 2014.
