Queensbury man accused of receiving, transmitting child pornography

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – A man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a child pornography case.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Seth Stedman was arrested for felony promoting a sexual performance of a child.
According to authorities, Stedman was arrested following a search warrant execution at the man’s home. Police say the search warrant was obtained following an investigation into child pornography being downloaded and transmitted from a home in Queensbury. 
Stedman was allegedly found to have used EMULE, an online peer to peer file sharing system, to receive and transmit hundred of child pornography videos and images.
The man was arraigned and released of his own recognizance.
