ALBANY, N.Y. – Albany residents will be able to share a ride in a whole new way starting on Thursday.
A new program called Capital Carshare will officially launch .Carshare allows members to use one of six eco-friendly vehicles scattered around town. That way, you only pay when you need them.
The goal of a $312,000 start-up grant from the CDTA is to offer affordable and sustainable transportation options in the city.
There will be a press conference at city hall at 10 a.m. Thursday to officially launch the program.
