ALBANY, N.Y. – Young girls in the Capital Region are taking part in the summer “Nano-Camp Day” at the NanoTech Complex.

The camp introduces students between the ages of 11 and 14 to the world of nanotechnology, which is claimed to power New York’s innovation economy.
The idea behind the program is to promote the role of women in science through hands on activities. During the program, the girls will build solar trains, learn about clean energy, and also learn different ways technology impacts their everyday lives.
