FULTONVILLE, N.Y. – A man has been arrested for two robberies at a store that happened in March and again in June.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, they arrested Adam Kubisky, 32, following a lengthy investigation into the robberies.
Authorities responded to a robbery complaint at the AM Best Truck Stop on March 10. Upon arrival, authorities determined a male suspect had entered the store, displayed a knife, and demanded money from the store clerk.
On June 15, the sheriff’s office responded to a second robbery complaint at the AM Best Truck Stop. Authorities determined that the male suspect had entered the store displayed a knife,, and demanded money from the store clerk.
Police say the clerk handed the male suspect money. The suspect left the store in a vehicle that was sitting in the parking lot.
A description of the suspect and the vehicle were given both times to authorities with the aid of surveillance video and the store clerk.
Investigators were able to locate the van involved which led to the arrest of Kubisky.
Kubisky was charged with two counts of robbery in the first degree, grand larceny in the fourth, and petit larceny.
Kubisky was arraigned in the Town of Mohawk Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000. He is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Glen Court to answer the charges.
