Teen charged with felony possession of stolen property

DUANESBURG, N.Y. – An 18-year-old from Schenectady faces a felony charge after police traced stolen items back to him.

On August 6, 2014 State Police in Princetown arrested Owen Abraham, of Schenectady for felony possession of stolen property.

Troopers were called to an address on Duanesburg Road in the Town of Duanesburg, on July 26th for a report of stolen jewelry. State Police caught a break in the case when they recovered one of the stolen items from Jewels Jewelry in the Rotterdam Square Mall.

State Police were able to identify Abraham from the identification he used at Jewels. He was arraigned in the Town of Rotterdam Court and was remanded to the Schenectady County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond.
