ALBANY, N.Y. – UAlbany hosted on of the more competitive camps in the area with five teams involved.
The UAlbany coaching staff puts the teams through drills while giving them advice on how to improve their individual skills. Then the teams break off into team practices followed by inter squad scrimmages.
“We get to see bigger guys, faster guys, and it’s good for us to practice against people that we may not see in the regular season, and it’s fun. It’s just good competition,” Hoosick Falls senior linebacker Shayne Richard said.
“I think of all of us here are just anxious to see our kids suited up and watch the blocking and the tackling and the execution,” CBA head coach Joe Burke said.
Two-A-Days for the teams will begin on August 18. The first games of the season are Friday, September 5.
