MILTON, N.Y. – A Milton man was arrested on weapon charges after he allegedly threatened two people with long rifles during a domestic dispute.
State Police responded to a residence in the Stockade Trailer Park just before 5 a.m. on July 21 for a report of a domestic incident. Police said a subject inside the trailer was threatening two people with two long rifles and refusing to let them leave without injury.
The responding officers were setting up a perimeter when the caller was able to exit the trailer through an open window, according to police. The suspect, Alvin Watson Jr., exited the residence as the caller was climbing out of the window. He was arrested without further incident, police said.
Watson was charged with Menacing in the First Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree.
The 57-year-old was arraigned in the Town of Malta Court and sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
