EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. — Two local men were charged with shoplifting in two separate cases.

David Rosado, 27, of Cohoes, was chased by store employees who watched him carry a pair of cargo pants and T-shirt to the exit without paying. Although he got away from store employees, he was later located at a nearby McDonalds and arrested. The stolen merchandise, worth $25, was recovered.

Lawrence S. Myers, Jr., 22, of Rensselaer was charged by Officer Raymond Diaz after he tried to leave the store without paying for deodorant and an Xbox combo-cable worth $40.

Both cases will be heard in Town Court beginning July 31.
