Three men arrested at GlobalFoundries

MALTA, N.Y. – State Police arrested three men for allegedly stealing scrap metal.

James Maio and Colin Bergin, of Saratoga Springs, and Spiro Angelides, of Schenectady, worked for Coghlin Electrical Contractors located at GlobalFoundries. They were arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

Police said the subjects were stealing scrap metal from the company and keeping a portion of the proceeds.

All three are expected to appear in the Town of Malta Court on July 16.
