Home health aide arrested for Grand Larceny

CAROGA, N.Y. – A home health aide was arrested for allegedly stealing property that belonged to a Fulton County client.

Nicole Sheroka, 40, has been accused of stealing property from a Caroga Lake residence. Police said Sheroka had access to the residence because of her work as a home health aide for a private company.

Sheroka was arrested at her Schenectady residence and had some of the stolen items in her possession, according to police. She was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and ordered to appear in Town of Caroga Court on July 28.

Police encourage anyone who may have had Sheroka as a home health aide and have items missing to contact the State Police in Mayfield at 518-661-5446.
