Philadelphia man accused of possessing stolen Florida plates

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – A traffic stop led to the recovery of two stolen registration plates, according to State Police.
Authorities say Troopers conducted a traffic stop in Clifton on the Northway Thursday afternoon. 
A license plate reader ‘hit’ alerted Troopers that the registration plate mounted to a 2011 Hyundai, which was driven by Hanfei Shen, 34, had been reported stolen to the Hollywood, Florida Police Department.  
Shen, who is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was stopped and arrested. State Police say a second stolen plate from Miami, Florida was found inside the Hyundai.  
Shen was charged with two misdemeanor counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fifth. He was arraigned in the Town of Clifton Park Court and posted $1000.00 cash bail.
