ALBANY,N.Y.—Free coffee, cold drinks, and snacks will be available at the rest stop north of Exit 9 on the Northway during the holiday weekend.
The purpose of the break is to keep drivers safe while traveling to their vacation spots.
Coffee, soda, bottled water, cookies, and snacks are being provided by Albany County Assistance.
Albany County Assistance is a non-profit public service communications team, which assists stranded motorists and also works with local police and law enforcement officials to keep our communities safe and to provide assistance during times of crisis.
The public service will take place all week, starting at 9 a.m. July 4 until 5 p.m. on July 6.
