ROTTERDAM, N.Y. – A woman was rushed to Albany Medical Center after she fell off a cliff at the Plotter Kill Preserve.
Police said the call came in around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Firefighters and paramedics were able to hike down to the injured woman. She is now listed in stable condition.
It took crews almost three hours to hike her out of the ravine. The fire chief said the rescue was very manpower intensive because the hike down the falls is very tight and very steep.
There is no word on what led to the hiker’s fall.
