Troy bicyclist hit by car still alive

TROY, N.Y. – Troy police now say the man who was hit by a car while riding his bike is still alive.

Police said 53-year-old Stephen Nolan was allegedly attempting to cross King Street June 2 when he collided with a vehicle. Nolan was in grave condition at the scene.

Police said Nolan succumbed to his injuries on June 3 after he was taken to Samaritan Hospital and later Albany Medical Center.

Police now say Nolan is still alive and in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Albany Med.
