State Police: Man pulled over for seat belt violation, arrested on disorderly conduct

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – State Police say they arrested a man after he allegedly refused to cooperate with a Trooper.

According to authorities, a State Trooper stopped Matthew Bermudez, 24, on I-890 for not wearing a seat belt. 

Bermudez allegedly refused to give the Trooper his driver’s license and would not identify himself. Police say he also refused to exit the vehicle for further investigation.

Police say that Bermudez has been charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration. He was taken to the Princetown barracks where he was identified with the help of electronic fingerprinting. 

He was arraigned and ordered to return at a later date.
