Eight new trees planted in Schenectady’s Central Park

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – ReTree Schenectady planted eight trees in the city on Saturday.

The eight large trees were planted around the Duck Pond in Central Park on Saturday morning. This is part of an ongoing project to replace trees in the parks that have been damaged by storms, or lost to old age and disease.

The planting is a joint project with ReTree Schenectady and the City of Schenectady.
