School district’s push for random acts of kindness comes to an end

ALBANY, N.Y. — A local community has come together to spread kindness, encouraging over 50,000 random acts of kindness.

The effort was launched by the Shenendehowa School District with a goal of 50,000 random acts of kindness in May. If you see or do something kind unexpectedly, post it online using #ShenRAK14 or #RAKon10.

So far, 48,000 “pass it on” cards have been handed out. That doesn’t include how many times the cards may have changed hands as more people spread the kindness, so the Shen goal, may have already been achieved.
